Hello Games showed off a fresh new gameplay video of No Man’s Sky on Saturday, giving us an idea of just how large the exploration simulator is. When Hello Games says it’s big, they mean BIG. At one point in the video above, we explore a planet discovered by one of the developer’s employees; the camera pans out, shows us what solar system he’s in, and continues to pan out further and further, showing off the incredible vastness of space.
No Man’s Sky is one of the more anticipated titles for PS4, but it’s still a pretty big mystery in terms of what the game will be like. Sure, we know it’s procedurally generated, and we know emphasis is on exploration. But we haven’t seen too much else of what the game has to offer—something we’ll hopefully get a glimpse of soon. Hello Games is holding a special event for No Man’s Sky tonight at Sony’s PlayStation Experience, and we’ll be there checking out what it’s all about.
